Semi fails to negotiate curve on K-232

The driver of a Freightliner pulling a trailer received what appeared to be minor injuries Monday when he took a curve too fast and the vehicle overturned on K-232 in Russell County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 1:16 p.m. at the K-232 milepost 10 northbound, or the junction of K-232 and K-181 northbound.

The driven was Simon U. Miller, 56, from Salina. He was transported to Russell Regional Hospital and the vehicle was removed by A&D Towing.

Miller was wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
