A semitrailer overturned late Wednesday in Pawnee County, sending its driver to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports. The crash occurred at 11:55 p.m., 4 miles west of Rozel on K-156.

KHP reported a 2005 Peterbilt pulling a cattle trailer was westbound on K-156 when it went off the north side of the road and into the ditch, rolling over and coming to rest on the passenger side. The driver, Juan E. Alarcon-Sanatillanez, 24, of Aurora, Illinois, was taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. He had been wearing a safety restraint at the time of the crash. The vehicle was removed by Southwest Towing.
