A Great Bend woman was arrested last Thursday on a charge of aggravated battery-child abuse after a man reported the alleged abuse. Linda Mills, 35, was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

According to a report from the Great Bend Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence at 3214 23rd St. around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, Davin Mills stated his daughters told him their stepmother had been abusing them. After investigating further, Linda Mills was arrested.
