The Great Bend Police Department has released more information about the man arrested at 8 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Dustin W. Bosack, 32, was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to reports, the investigation began on June 8 when GBPD officers received a report of a sex offense involving a juvenile female occurring at a Great Bend residence.

As GBPD officers and detectives began compiling additional details for the report, it was learned that multiple sex offenses involving the suspect and the juvenile were alleged to have occurred at the residence.

During the course of this investigation, detailed information and evidence were compiled and multiple interviews were conducted, according to GBPD statement. That led to the arrest of Bosack, which occurred without incident.

The Child Advocacy Center/Department for Children and Families assisted in the investigation.

This investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with any information in reference to this case is urged to contact the Great Bend Police Department, 620-793-4120, or call Crime Stoppers, 620-792-1300, to leave an anonymous tip.
