SUV driver injured on NE 30 Road

A woman who fell asleep while driving on a Barton County road Friday morning sustained apparently minor injuries when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert, Kansas Highway Patrol reports.

Taylor Rose Hoffmann, 21, from Kanopolis was traveling east on NE 30 Road, 3 miles north of Great Bend, when the vehicle, a 2006 Chevy HHR, went off the road. Hoffman was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to The University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, and the compact sport utility vehicle was removed by Marshall’s Tow Service
