Two Great Bend women were arrested after a search warrant netted illegal narcotics at a Great Bend residence Friday afternoon.
According to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies obtained and executed a search warrant around 1:30 p.m. at 5907 Eisenhower Ct., Apt. B. BCSO detectives had obtained information about possible illicit drug sales at that residence. Detectives gained entry to the residence and discovered suspected methamphetamine, prescription drugs and marijuana. A 9 mm handgun as well as evidence of drug distribution were also found in the apartment, Sheriff Brian Bellendir stated.
Karissa Wagner, 28, of Great Bend, was arrested at the scene and transported to the Barton County Jail without incident. She was booked on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Amber Wilson, 40, of Great Bend, was also arrested at the location, and was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Her bond is also $50,000.
