ROZEL — A truck driver was taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned on Friday after driving into a ditch 1.5 miles west of Rozel, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports.
The accident occurred at 5:10 a.m. on K-156. David H. Sparks, 61, from Shepherd, Texas, was driving the eastbound 2016 Freightliner. After it went into the south ditch, Sparks attempted to drive back onto K-156 when the vehicle laid over on the passenger side.
He was wearing a seat belt but sustained possible injury.
The truck, which was pulling a utility trailer, was removed by Doonan.
