A search warrant executed Tuesday by Great Bend police resulted in the arrest of two Great Bend residents on multiple drug and child endangerment charges.
According to a release, GBPD executed a search warrant at a residence at 1716 Hubbard St. at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. During the execution of the search warrant, residents Paul Reno Andrew Vasquez Jr., 24, and Sydney Rae Voth, 24, and a minor child were located inside of the residence.
A thorough search of the residence yielded suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, items of illegal drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of United States currency. Vasquez was arrested on charges of distribution, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, and no drug tax stamp. Voth was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, and no drug tax stamp. Both Vasquez and Voth were transported to the Barton County Detention Center and booked in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Barton County Juvenile Services responded to the scene and the minor child was removed from the home.
