RUSH COUNTY — A motorist was injured Sunday afternoon when the 2005 Ford Wagon he was driving went off County Road 370 in Rush County, half a mile south of U Road or 5 miles east of Timken. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Jose Raul Pacheco, 44, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital around 2 p.m. after the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole. He was not wearing a safety restraint.
