An Ellsworth man was taken to Ellsworth Medical Center on Tuesday with possible injuries after the vehicle he was driving slid off of a road in Ellsworth County. David Wynn Buchholz, 67, complained of pain after the 8:44 a.m. crash on 6th Road and Avenue D, 6 miles east of 2nd Road in Wilson. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, he was in a northbound 2005 Chevrolet Colorado when the vehicle crested the hill and he slammed on the brakes. It slid sideways through the intersection and into the northwest ditch facing southwest.

Buchholz was wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
