A snowbank that partially blocked the vision of drivers may have contributed to a collision Sunday at Barton Community College, according to Lt. Steve Billinger at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office. A 1997 Buick LeSabre driven by Megan Rimmel, 19, Abilene, was southbound and collided with an eastbound 2003 Ford Escape driven by Dorian Lueth, 20, Hoisington, who was pulling onto the access road from a driveway. This was reported as an injury crash at 5 p.m. Although Lueth’s head hit the window, the driver was treated and released at the scene.
