A Great Bend woman suffered possible injuries to her face, hip, knee and foot after reportedly being pushed from her boyfriend’s moving car Wednesday afternoon. Great Bend Police Department is investigating the domestic call that turned into an alleged aggravated battery.

According to reports, the 37-year-old woman and 39-year-old man were arguing at 3:49 p.m. when he reportedly pushed her from a Buick after they left the bowling alley in Great Bend. She remained conscious and called friends who took her to 94 SW 10 Ave., where Great Bend Fire Department Ambulance and the Barton County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist.

GBPD Sgt. Gary Davis said the woman refused medical treatment, and her injuries appeared to be mostly bruises and road rash. The male could not be found, but an "attempt to locate" notice was issued.
