Plenty of Marvel fans spoke out in anger about Star-Lord, the Guardians of the Galaxy hero who pretty much ruined everything in Avengers: Infinity War.

As you may recall and this is where the spoilers begin the Avengers had supervillain Thanos at their mercy late in the film.

Just as they were about to rip away the Infinity Gauntlet so they could destroy Thanos and save half the universe, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) learned that Thanos had killed Gamora, who was Thanos daughter and Star-Lord's love interest.

In response, Star-Lord let his anger get the best of him and attacked Thanos, waking up the monstrous titan and leading to his revival.

If youve seen the movie, you know what happened next.

But Pratt told RadioTimes in a recent interview he doesnt think Star-Lord deserves so much hate.

Look, the guy watched his mother die, he watched as his father figure died in his arms, he was forced to kill his own biological father, Pratt said. And now has suffered the loss of the love of his life. So I think he reacted in a way thats very human, and I think the humanity of the Guardians of the Galaxy is what sets them apart from other superheroes. I think if we did it a hundred times, I wouldnt change a thing.

He added, I guess you could have the movie end a half hour earlier if you wanted, but it seemed like people really liked this. And also, I blame Thanos, OK? Jeez, how come hes not getting any blame?

OK, sure, Thanos technically destroyed half the universe. But that didnt stop fans from hating on Star-Lord. He was called the worst hero and the real villain of the film. The internet hated him, while others said he now needs a huge redemption arc.

Still, Star-Lords blunder didnt stop Marvel fans from seeing the film. Infinity War has taken in more than $1.9 billion worldwide since it debuted. It had the No. 1 opening weekend of all time with more than $257 million.
