Hurricane Harvey brought havoc and fury to Texas about two weeks ago, causing widespread damage across the Houston area.

Photos and videos of the storms destruction continue to make headlines, including the most recent one of a fanged creature found on a Texas beast after the storm, BBC reported.

And everyone is freaking out about it.

Texas resident Pretti Desai found the decaying creature on a Texas City beach and posted photos of it to social media, asking Twitter users to help identify it.

"It was completely unexpected, it's not something that you'd typically see on a beach. I thought it could be something from the deep sea that might have washed on to shore, she told BBC.

Twitter went ablaze with theories.

Experts weighed in, too. Dr. Kenneth Tighe, a biologist and eel specialist, said he believes that it a fangtooth snake-eel.

He also said it could be a garden eel, because "all three of these species occur off Texas and have large fang-like teeth, he told BBC.

The animal is also known as a tusky eel.

Desai told BBC shes happy she posted the image on Twitter since she knew experts would weigh in.

"I follow a lot of scientists and researchers. There's such a great community of these folks that are very helpful, especially when it comes to answering questions about the world or identifying animals and plants," she said.
