TUNDRATOWN Zootopia was a smash hit for Disney, and deservedly so.
Adults and children alike flocked to theaters around the world to see a well-crafted story filled with adorable animals fighting crime, righting wrongs and making friends. Classic Disney, really.
As far as Im concerned, Disney gets a lot of things right, and this is from a lifetime of watching the companys animated films and classic live action movies ad nauseam. And sometimes Disney gets things so right that it crosses over into real life.
If youve seen Zootopia (if not, the following will be a small spoiler), you will remember a key point in the film where Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde have to get around a pack of sharkskin suit-clad wolves who are guarding a dam that holds an important clue.
To get past the guards, Nick plays on the natural instincts of wolves to communicate through howling, and thats when this internet German shepherd really gets into Zootopia. In this video, youll see the adorable pup join the pack in a howl, and its one of the longest and most plaintive howls ever. Its quite the charming watch.
However, there is a melancholic tinge to the video. This German shepherd, no matter how much it howls, will never be able to join his newly found animated pack not even with Disney magic.
