THE KITCHEN Advances in technology are amazing, but its not always sunshine and roses.

The smarter tech gets, the more it feels like the robot uprising will be a thing. And I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.. But I digress. What Im really talking about is the growing pains of learning new tech.

Lets be honest, the new tech learning curve doesnt seem to faze your average 3-year-old child; learning to use new tech mostly affects people who are closer to or completely in their golden years.

The best example of this you will ever see is in this video of an 85-year-old Italian grandma learning to use her new Google Home device. Spoiler alert: its completely charming and adorable and hilarious.

Here are some highlights you will enjoy when you watch the video:

  • The polite way grandma introduces herself to Google Home.
  • Grandmas well-ingrained lessons on touch screen technology that arent relevant in this situation
  • So many emphatic heys and OKs.
  • Adorable horror when the device gives grandma a weather report.
  • Grandma singing to help the device recognize her favorite song.
And more!

The video was posted by the womans grandson, YouTube user Ben Actis, and it has received over half a million views in three days. At least four of those views have been from me alone.
