THE SKATE PARK People who can perform skateboard tricks without falling on their face amaze me.
Even the most basic of tricks totally and completely elude me. I have done a little skateboarding and longboarding and was proud of myself for finally mastering just simply pushing myself. Add in any kind of jumps or flips, and I would become the road rash queen.
However, skateboarder Ben Koppl doesnt suffer from my terrible balance and lack of coordination. He recently posted a video of a crazy trick where he jumps onto a rail, and then proceeds to spin his board 360-degrees around it before jumping back onto the sidewalk. To say it blew my mind is an understatement.
For my uncoordinated self and all the daring folks out there, Im just going to go ahead and give a disclaimer to help you avoid inevitable stitches: Do not try this at home.
