A new major animated film looks to tell the story of the first Christmas, and it will include some major names.

Oprah Winfrey, Tracy Morgan and Kelly Clarkson will all contribute their voice talents to The Star, a tale of the first Christmas.

The teaser trailer for the film debuted online this week. It will also appear alongside The Emoji Movie, which is being released this weekend.

The family friendly film will specifically share the story of the first Christmas through the eyes of the animals involved, including Bo the donkey (voiced by Steven Yeun of "The Walking Dead" fame) and Dave the dove (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key of "Key & Peele").

Winfrey, Morgan and Tyler Perry will play three camels, and Clarkson will voice Leah the horse, according to a press release.

The press release also said the story will focus on Bo, a donkey who yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill."

Bo breaks free and goes on a wild adventure where he teams with other animals to follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told the first Christmas, the statement read.

The thing were doing with this movie that lets us (have creative license is) that its the story of the nativity, but from the point of view of the animals, Tim Reckart, director of The Star, told Faithwire earlier this year. Thats a story that nobody has told before. Were calling it the greatest story never told.
