A video of an alligator taking a walk around a Florida golf course has been viewed nearly 6 million times since it was posted Monday. Charles Helms, a 56-year-old man, captured the alligators appearance on his phone.
Golf.com reported that when Helms was asked why he recorded the alligator, he said, A better question might be, 'How can you not record it?'
He was at a pretty safe distance, Helms told golf.com. This alligator was so large, he would only move slowly about 100 feet at a time before having to lie down and rest, so he probably wasnt in as much danger as it may have appeared. An alligator expert may refute that; Im just going on what I have been told.
