A late child who had high adoration for comic book characters and larger than life heroes had a funeral full of superheroes over the weekend.
The boy, Jacob Hall, had his funeral on Oct. 5 after passing away last week when he was shot on a school playground by a 14-year-old student during a shooting in South Carolina. Hall was always a fan of superheroes and his families.
I dont want suits and ties. There will be a lot of children there and I dont want it to be scary for them, his mother said at the funeral.
Indeed, superheroes showed up at the funeral. Superman, the Power Rangers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all showed up. Batman even spoke.
May a 6-year-old boy become such a part of our lives that this community shows the rest of the world what hope is all about, the man playing Batman said.
