A young boy named Jack could have wallowed in embarrassment after throwing up in a bookstore.
But instead, he faced his fears head on and told the bookstore he was sorry in a very heartwarming letter.
Jack sent a gift card for Ben and Jerrys ice cream with the letter, too, according to the Reddit user who posted the letter online and also works at the bookstore.
This Ben and Jerrys card is for the people who cleaned up the throw up of a kid on Friday the 28th, Jack wrote. I dont know their names but I think them a lot and Im sorry again for throwing up, and hope you enjoy your ice cream.
And, of course, Jack was very transparent about who he was.

Jennifer Wicka, the bookstores manager, told BuzzFeed News that shes never received a letter like Jacks from a customer.
I opened it up and read it and it totally made my day. Im pretty grumpy about people and humanity, Wicka told BuzzFeed. Oh man, some people are good.
