Adeline F. Bryant 1923 - 2011

HOISINGTON — Adeline F. Bryant, 87, died April 7 at Country Place Senior Living in Hoisington. Born April 18, 1923 in Pitcher, Okla., she was the daughter of Oscar L. and Ida E. (Emily) Brandon. A Hoisington resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker. On Jan. 15, 1939 she married Vivian T. Bryant in Columbus. He died July 2, 1968.

Mrs. Bryant was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Hoisington.

Survivors include two daughters, Deanna S. Vincent and husband Bob, of Hoisington, and Lana K. Lyon and husband Tim of North Platte, Neb.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dempsey T. Bryant; three brothers, Daniel Brandon, Lewis Brandon, and Roy Brandon; three sisters, Leola Clogston, Lula Clogston and Eula Clogston; and two grandsons, Michael Vincent and Todd Vincent.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m, on Monday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington with the Rev. Don Fisher officiating. Burial will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m., on Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to service time on Monday. Memorials are suggested to the Church of the Nazarene or Kans for Kids, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.nicholsonrickefh.net.
