MALVERN Ark. — Agatha M. (Esfeld) Cuzick Reeves, 91, died Dec. 29 at The Crossing in Malvern, Ark. She was born March 9, 1919, at Great Bend, the daughter of Fred, Sr. and Frances (Monger) Esfeld. She married Glenn E. Cuzick on Aug. 17, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1969. At the ripe old age of 83, she married Donald Reeves, and he preceded her in death in 2003. A Great Bend resident until moving to Malvern in 2007, Agatha enjoyed living at The Crossing, where she participated in fishing tournaments, the Senior Olympics, dances and various other activities.

Agatha lived every day to the fullest, spending as much time as she could with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post No. 3111, both of Great Bend. She was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Malvern.

Other than her husbands, Agatha was also preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Fritz, Joseph, Maurice "Dutch," and George Esfeld.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Jo (Cuzick) Perreira and husband Larry of Oceanside, Calif., and Joyce (Cuzick) Lewis and husband Tom of Hot Springs, Ark.; a son, Geary E. Cuzick and wife Gaylene of Norton; sister, Catherine (Esfeld) Birzer and husband Lawrence of Ellinwood; grandchildren, Linda Prosser Wooge, Terry Prosser, Doree Lewis Donley, Lyndi Lewis Ford, Josh Lewis, Cully Jackson and Josh Jackson; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Glenn Cuzick, at the Great Bend Cemetery in a private family service. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Shane Higginbotham and the staff at The Crossing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1121 McBee St., Malvern, AR 72104, or The Crossing, 720 N. Walco Rd., Malvern, AR 72104.
