MANHATTAN — Alexander Delane Hamblin, 26, passed away Nov. 1, at his residence. Born in Great Bend on April 7, 1988, he was the son of Debra (Horyna) Pratt and the late Everett Hamblin. He loved to write poetry and also had a passion for music. Alex would be outdoors fishing whenever he could.  
Alex was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother Debra Pratt of Manhattan; two brothers, Mathew Hamblin and Gage Pratt, both of Manhattan; and his daughter, Kirstin Belcher of Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister Alyshia Hamblin.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, with Father Joe Popelka officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 2 p.m. today at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home.  For more information or to send an online condolence or gift, visit irvinparkview@gmail.com.
