Alicie Danielle DeBolt, 14, of Great Bend, died Aug. 22 in rural Great Bend. She was born May 1, 1996, at Hays, the daughter of Richard and Tamara (Hodges) DeBolt. She was a Great Bend resident since 2005, coming from Hays. She was a student and cheerleader at Great Bend High School, a competitive gymnast at Heartland Academy, Hays, and a former cheerleader at Larned Middle School. She was a vibrant, caring person with a heart as big as the ocean. Her spirit remains with her family and friends in every rainbow.
Alicia was a member of Celebration Church, Hays.
Survivors include her father, Richard DeBolt and companion Alethea Ashbaugh, Great Bend; her mother, Tammy Conrad and her husband, Danny, of Great Bend; one sister, Dawn DeBolt and wife Holly and their children, Hailee and Gracie Bonham; one brother, Christopher DeBolt; two stepsisters, Kearra LeDesma and Rose LeDesma; matrnal grandparents, David and Kathern Hodges; stepgrandparents, Lawrence and Marjorie Conrad; aunts, uncles and cousins: Angela Murphy and husband Jerry, John Shelton and Sierra Keck and their son, Haven; Samuel Shelton and Meagan Murphy; Michael Hodges; Barry Hodges and wife Tonya and Hannah and Halli. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Joyce DeBolt, and great-grandparents, Verl and Evelyn Denison; and aunt, Belinda Nading.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Assembly of God in Great Bend, with the Rev. Kyle Ermoian officiant. A private family inurnment will take place.
