Ana Maria Navarro, 66, passed away surrounded by loved ones at her home in Great Bend, Kan. She was born on March 20, 1957, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Roberto Navarro and Maria Jasso.
A resident of Great Bend since 2000, she spent her working years as a housekeeper. She loved collecting things from garage sales and taking care of her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Roberto C. Ferrel of Mexico, Omar A. (Celsa) Ferrel of Lyons, Kan., and Emmanuel (Kiana) Ferrel of Great Bend, Kan.; five grandchildren, Brandon, Nicole, Beyonce, Madelyn and Benjamin Ferrel; three brothers, Jorge (Patricia) Navarro, Roberto (Cecilia) Navarro, and Octavio (Teresa) Navarro; and a sister, Bertha (Ruben) Leticia. She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Memorials have been designated to the Ana Maria Navarro Expense Fund or First Street Church of God in Hoisington, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
