RAYMOND, Kan. — Anita Maxine Sheridan, 65, of Raymond, Kan., passed away Feb. 3, 2022, at her son’s home in Wichita. She was born June 10, 1956, in Ulysses, Kan., the daughter of Charles Marion and Ruby Maxine Bitner Brady. Anita has resided in Raymond since 1995, formerly of Chase. She attended Chase High School. Anita worked for Ellinwood Tank Service from 1979-98, purchasing the business in 1998. She enjoyed camping, bowling, politics, caring for others, spending time with her family, and most of all, sharing her love of Christ with others. On May 22, 1999, Anita was united in marriage with Daniel Sheridan in Lyons.
Survivors include: husband Daniel Sheridan and mother-in-law Shirley Sheridan, of the home; her daughter, Celena Feil and Brian Oberle of Chase; son, Travis Feil of Wichita; brother, Francis Brady and wife Mary of Chase; two sisters-in-law, Judy Brady of Moses Lake, Wash., and Janice Brady of Valley Center; and four grandchildren, Justin Oberle, Mackenzie Oberle, Levi Feil, and Malachi Feil. Anita was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gary, Melvin, and Chuck Brady; sister, Gene Lovas; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Brady and Kay Brady. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at the Raymond Community Development Center with Pastor Joel Grizzle officiating and a lunch to follow. The family requests friends and family wear casual clothing to the celebration in accordance with Anita’s wishes. Memorials may be given to the Raymond Community Development Center or Chase House of Prayer in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
