ELLINWOOD — Ann T. Brown, 64, died Feb. 18 at Ellinwood District Hospital. Born May 24, 1948 in Duncan, Okla., she was the daughter of Howard Gardner and Gladys B. Baldwin Gardner. On June 10, 1967 she married Terrance W. Brown in Ellinwood. A resident of Ellinwood for 50 years and a seasonal resident of Sargents, Colo., she was a legal secretary, a property manager, office manager for North American Drilling and Exploration and an aerobics instructor for 25 years.
Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society, was active in the Engaged Encounter Weekends, and a member of Grove Park Golf Club, all in Ellinwood.
Survivors include her husband Terrance W. Brown, of the home; a son, Chandler (Holly) Brown of Ellinwood; a daughter, Stacy (Bob) Standlee of Ellinwood; a sister Kay (Ron) Kelly of Ellinwood; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Pebble Brown of Wagoner, Okla.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Michael Wesley.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father Charles Mazouch officiating. Burial will be at the Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Friends may visit from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, with a 3 p.m. Altar Society Rosary, at Kimple Funeral Home in Ellinwood, followed by a 6 p.m. vigil service at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Ellinwood Area Health Care Foundation or the Ellinwood Public School and Library Foundation.
