Anna Janell Kaiser, 82, passed away April 7, 2021, at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood. She was born on October 26, 1938, in Henderson, KY, to Earnest and Alvera (Cook) Fisher. She married Donald Peter Kaiser on May 10, 1958, in Great Bend. He died May 7, 2009.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Anna was a housekeeper for Best Western and Larned State Hospital, previously working at Rexall Drug. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking and attending craft shows.
Survivors include, two sons, Dale Kaiser (Aimee Johnston) of Kansas City, KS, and Devin Kaiser and wife Kristie of Hoisington; a daughter, Donna Fisher and husband Rik of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Trudy Richardson of Great Bend; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie Kaiser, Trevor Kaiser and Anneka Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Kaiser; and a sister, Lois Befort.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Altar Society Rosary at 4 p.m., and Vigil service with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to Prince of Peace Parish or Kans for Kids, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
