Arlen Clark Davidson 1947 - 2015

LEAVENWORTH — Ret. US Army Sgt. 1st Class Arlen Clark Davidson, 67,  passed away March 30, 2015, at his home. Born July 9, 1947, in Great Bend, he was the son of Clark and Anna Marguerite (Green) Davidson.
He served in the Navy from 1967 to 1972. He then joined the Army in 1987 and honorably retired from the military on March 31, 2001.  
Survivors include his mother, Anna Marguerite Davidson of Great Bend; four children, Sean (Elaine) Davidson of Dallas, Texas, Kelly Davidson of Kansas City, Kris (Sara) Davidson of Alexandria, Va., and Kari Davidson of Salina; and three grandchildren, Britt, Savannah and Shaylee. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Ronald Davidson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home in Leavenworth. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday prior to the funeral service. The family suggests memorials to “LAWS” (Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society).
