OLMITZ – Arthur J. “Art” Maneth, 66, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington. Born July 13, 1944 at Hoisington, he was the son of Arthur F. and Mary (Busch) Maneth.
A farmer and stockman, Maneth was a lifetime Olmitz resident. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Olmitz.
Survivors include three sisters: Beatrice Schneweis of Hoisington; Marjorie Thomas and husband Bob of Ellinwood; and Mary Ann Wondra and husband Bernard of Hoisington. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother-in-law, Leo Schneweis.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at the church with the Rev. Ultan Murphy officiating. Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Olmitz,. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church.
