HUTCHINSON — Beach J. “Jeff” O’Neal, 71, died Nov. 7 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Nevada, Mo., he was the son of Jefferson and Tressa Opperman O’Neal.
Survivors include his wife 30 years, Mary (Ehrlich) O’Neal; a daughter, Tanya Rathbun and husband Jamin, of Johnson City, Tenn.; a son, Jeffery O’ Neal of Ellsworth; a sister, Mary Johnson of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel in Hutchinson with Dr. Jeff Ehrlich presiding. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Monday, and 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, at Elliott Mortuary.
