Bennie Joe Dills, 68, died June 9 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 19, 1943 at Thayer, Mo., the son of Manuel Hayde Mitchel and Winnie Myrtle (Daily) Dills.
He married Mildred Ann Ward Aug. 11, 1962 at Thayer, Mo.  He was production foreman for Ritchie Exploration Inc.
Mr. Dills was a Great Bend resident since 1962 coming from Thayer, Mo. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Hutchinson.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Ann Dills of the home; two sisters, Hazel Drye of Thayer, Mo., and Winnie Marie Russell of Thayer, Mo.; sister-in-law, Alice Dills of Thayer, Mo.; and one nephew and six nieces. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Dills; and one sister, Helen Robinson.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on June 13 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Karriker officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., June 12 at Bryant Funeral Home. The Memorial Fund is the Barton County Relay for Life or Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
