Betty Lou Dalton Schuster, 84, was born on July 2nd, 1938, to Holly Dalton and Bertha Bradshaw Dalton in Salina, Kan. She passed peacefully in her home the morning of Nov. 16th, 2022, in Great Bend.
Betty was a proud Air Force military wife during her marriage to Glenn Schuster, supporting their family through many moves nationally and abroad. Betty gratefully returned to Kansas and set roots in Great Bend, where she lived her years writing poetry, painting, and going to local country music dances.
She is now joined with her two daughters, Carrie Heiderscheit and Beverly Schuster. She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Diana Ferguson and husband Darwin of Great Bend; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Public visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m., at the Great Bend Cemetery with Vic Link presiding.
