MEDICINE LODGE — Bill Clyde Reddick, 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 at Kiowa Manor. He was born on Aug. 16, 1930 in Woodward, Okla. to Clyde and Bernice (Puckett) Reddick. Bill married Gladys (Wilhelm) Reddick on Aug. 23, 1954. She preceded him in death on May 2, 2014.
Bill joined the United States Army at the age of 16 and was stationed in France. Upon returning home from the Army he completed 2 years of Business College. He worked in the oilfield. He is a former Mayor of Seward, Kan. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with family especially the grandchildren.
He is survived by his stepson, Steve (Lori) Hoffman; children, Susan Stocking of Medicine Lodge, Scott Reddick of North Platte, Neb. and Sharolyn Reddick of Seward; six grandchildren; many loved great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and family friends. Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys A Reddick; parents; and brothers, Bernard Reddick and Jerry Reddick.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at a later date in Seward Cemetery, Seward, Kan. Memorials may be made to Medicine Lodge VFW in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 East Lincoln, Medicine Lodge. Online condolences may be made at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
