Billie Jean Fletcher 1925-2015

SALINA — Billie Jean Fletcher, 90, died Sept. 21, 2015 at Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina. Born Sept. 14, 1925 at Buffalo, Mo., she was the daughter of Harry and Mabel (Chase) Tway.
Billie Jean married Lloyd M. Fletcher July 31, 1944 at Hays.  He died Nov. 29, 1986. She was a photographer for Selden I. Peugh Photography in Hoisington, and later was a bus driver for Claflin Schools. Mrs. Fletcher was a Salina resident, previously residing in Hoisington and Oregon. She was a member of Hoisington Bible Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Loder and her husband Bruce of Salina, and Cathy Jo Fletcher of Great Bend; two sons, Roger Fletcher and his wife Catherine of Birmingham, Iowa, and Mark Fletcher and his wife Penny of LaMonte, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Tway, and two sisters, Mabel Singleton and Minnie Clark.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. at Hoisington Cemetery. Officiant will be Pastor Gary Clark. Interment will be at Hoisington Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial are suggested to Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.nicholsonrickefh.net
