Bobbie Jo Elson  1970 - 2021

Bobbie Jo Elson, 51, passed away Friday June 4, 2021, at Via Christ St Francis, Wichita. She was born January 27, 1970, in Dodge City the daughter of Richard and Hurmely (Peters) Elson.

She has been a resident of Great Bend since 1982 coming from Jetmore. She attended River of Life Church. Bobbie worked in child care for over 20 years. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and garage sales, she especially loved working with children. 

Survivors include a brother, Richard Elson and wife Nina Mae of Great Bend; a sister, Mary Anderson and husband Ronald of North Glen, Co.; three nieces and seven nephews; many great nieces and nephews; 1 great great niece, 1 great great nephew and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nancy Pennington and Betty Barnett; and a nephew, Preston Barnett. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 12, 2021, at River of Life Church, 1219 Main St., Great Bend, with Reverend David LeRoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the National Kidney Foundation or Kans for Kids, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
