Bobett Teresa Beran, 83, of Great Bend, formerly of Odin and Hoisington, passed away on Sept. 14 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Aug. 15, 1929, in Pique, she was the daughter of Robert T. and Teresa (Stouffe) Lott.  She graduated from Yates Center High School. On Oct. 26, 1949, she was united in marriage to Eugene A. Beran in Pique. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1998. Bobett was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Mrs. Beran was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Holy Family Altar Society, both in Odin.
Survivors include three sons, Randall Joseph of Great Bend, Brent Gerard of Odin and his wife Shawna, and Scott Eugene and his wife Kim of Valley Center; one daughter, Michele and her husband Larry of Sedalia, Mo.; six grandchildren Rachel (Popp) Anderson, Ryan Popp, Lexen, Xavier, Tyler and Paige Beran; and two great-grandchildren Sophie and Zachary Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, John, Ronald, and Marvin (Dee) Lott; and one sister JoAnn Doeden.
Rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a memorial Mass at 10:a.m., both at Holy Family Catholic Church in Odin with Father Charles Mazouch as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Odin. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Holy Family Cemetery Fund or Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
