KINSLEY — Bonnie M. Miller, 70, died June 15 at Pratt Hospice House. Born Sept. 23, 1941, in Great Bend she was the daughter of Lawrence E. and Evelyn C. Schauf Jacobs. On Aug. 8, 1959, she married Richard Miller in Dubuque. He died on July 8, 2000. She was a dietary manager.
Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Nicholas church and Daughters of Isabella of Kinsley.
Survivors include four sons, Richard and Eric, both of Emporia, Mitchell of Overland park and Aaron of Wichita; a daughter, Denise Wheaton of Lewis; two brothers, Michael Jacobs of Iron River, Mich. and Larry Jacobs of Hoisington; a sister, Joyce Viets of Indianapolis, Ind.; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Kinsley with Father Warren Stoeckein officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. at St. Catherine Cemetery in Dubuque. A Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Catherine Cemetery and Heritage Fund or Diocese Dodge city Burse.
