Brenda Lea Loesch, 66, passed away peacefully in her home, Aug. 19, 2024, in Great Bend, Kan. She was born Feb. 19, 1958, in Garfield, Kan., to Carl and Sara (Schell) Mostrom. Brenda married Jerry Loesch on Sept. 19, 1993, in Great Bend.
Brenda was a member of Central Baptist Church. She previously had worked for Fuller Brush, CKMC, Dr. Krause, and as a Home Health Aide. She found joy in gardening, having new experiences in traveling, crafting, and shopping.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Jerry Loesch; son, James Weatherman (Lisa) of Lyons; daughter, Heather Weatherman (Jeff White) of Great Bend; grandsons, Damien Weatherman, Dylan Frank (Destice), Wyatt Frank (Sierra); granddaughters, Sierra Anderson (Dallas), and Bailey Jones; great grandson, Calvin Frank; step son, Tracy Loesch (Penny) of Raymond; step daughter, Jeri Lynn Aylward (Mike) of Hoisington; brothers, Larry Mostrom of Topeka and John Mostrom (Shawn) of Glen Rock, Wyo.; and step grandchildren, Gracie, M.J. and Reece Aylward. She was preceded in passing by her parents and her brother James “Tony” Mostrom.
Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. A private family inurnment will take place at Garfield Cemetery, Garfield, Kan., at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Brenda Loesch Funeral Expense Fund, Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice, or Wounded Warrior Project, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
