Brian Gene Mott, 32, died Feb. 7 in Kingman County. Born April 1, 1980 in Medicine Lodge he was the son of Wendell and Connie (Kimball) Mott. A resident of Great Bend since 2003, coming from Pratt, he was employed for Val-energy Rig #3. Brian loved working on the rig and being outdoors and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Connie Mott of Great Bend; one son, Brian Jesse Mott of Great Bend; two sisters, Amber Mott and Megan Mott, both of Great Bend; and one brother, Anthony Mott of Great Bend.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Mott.
A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Brian Jesse Mott Educational Fund, in care of the funeral home.
