YODER — Bruce Edward Thornbrugh, 74, of Yoder, Kan., passed away Sept. 18, 2019 at his home in Yoder, Kan. He was born Aug. 18, 1945 in Hoisington, Kan., the son of Clarence and Vada Marie Thornbrugh.

A graduate of Hoisington High School, he was a former sales representative for Jasco Janitorial Supply Company, and was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by three sons, Jon (Kristen) Thornbrugh, James (Deanna) Thornbrugh, Jeff (Esra) Thornbrugh; one step-son, Lloyd Bowen; one brother Ross (Loretta) Thornbrugh; one sister in law, Norma Thornbrugh; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Hayden, Ian, Conor, Liem, William, Aiden, and Marylu; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his request cremation has taken place and a private family burial was held Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 in the Hoisington City Cemetery, Hoisington, Kan. It was his request that memorial gifts be made to Celiac Disease Foundation at www.celiac.org.
