PRATT — Carla Diane Smith, 48, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. Born June 5, 1968, in Pratt, she was the daughter of Benny Glenn and Helen Louise (Ridge) Bailey. On Sept. 19, 1997, she married Durwin K. Smith in Pratt. He survives.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pratt.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Durwin, are mother, Helen Bailey of Pratt; brother, Van (Alice) Bailey of Emporia; and sister, Ellen (Arlan) Hair of Pratt. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Marvin Ewerett presiding. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt. There will be no viewing but friends may sign the book from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at Larrison Mortuary in Pratt. Memorials may be made to Pratt Co.
