SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Carmen Appel, 82, of Springfield, Ill. died on Feb. 6, 2019 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She married Cecil Appel on May 25, 1955. She was preceded in death by Ronald Appel and Dianna Appel. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Dennis) Wagner of Joplin, Mo. and Lorilea (Robert) Sanders of Springfield,Ill.; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
