Carol Ann Huffman, 75, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her home in Great Bend. She was born May 4, 1945, in Great Bend the daughter of Edward and Marie (Krmela) Horyna.

Carol was a life time resident of Great Bend. She was a member of the Eagles and the Assembly of God Church. Carol enjoyed collecting humming birds and walking. She loved spending time with family.

Survivors include two sons, Leslie Hopkins of Hutchinson, and Tommy Hopkins of Great Bend; two daughters, Pamela Hopkins and Kristie Huffman both of Great Bend; a brother, Edwin Horyna of Hutchinson; four sisters, Rose Cosper of Grand Prairie, TX, Betty Hafenstine of LaCrosse, Connie Allen of McPherson, and Lois Cox of South Hutchinson; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Clarence, Donald, and Kenneth Horyna; and two sisters, Evelyn Knox and Sylvia Horyna.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Dozier presiding. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Olmitz. Memorials have been suggested to the Carol Huffman Funeral Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
