Carol Siefkes, 92, went to be with her heavenly father April 27, 2022, at Overland Park Hospital. She was born on Christmas morning Dec. 25, 1929 in Abilene, Kan. to Harry and Ethel Eibert.

Carol graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1947. She married Bill Jones in 1949 and they lived in Hutchinson, St. John and Stafford, Kan. He passed away in 1993 and she married Kenneth Siefkes in 1998 and lived in Hutchinson, Kan. He passed away in 2011.

Carol worked for O’Mara Pontiac, The American Cancer Society and Stafford County Appraisers Office and opened their own motel in St. John, Kan. She was active in Church Women United, Phi Beta Psi Sorority and active member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.

She will be remembered by her kindness, faith, gardening and her love to her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, traveling, collecting red birds and spending time with her family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ethel; husband, Bill; husband, Ken; brother and sister in law, Wayne and Hilda Eibert; sister and brother in law, Mary Lou and Darrel Clark; son, Bill Jones; granddaughter, Lydia Knight. She is survived by her daughter, Dori Wonsetler (Marty} and Elaine Walter (Scott}; grandchildren Ashley (Jon}, Jimmy, Christopher, Kayla (Sean} and Ellie. Her step-children include, Tim (deceased) (Andrea), Kelly (Diane), Kerry (deceased) Randy, Tammy (Mike) and Julie. There are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and

loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 on Friday, May 20 at Louisburg United Methodist Church. A private burial at Pretty Prairie Cemetery will be at a later time.
