Carolyn Elaine (Estrada) Imler, 80, passed away March 9, 2024, at Eureka Nursing Home, Eureka, Kansas. She was born on June 11, 1943, in Meridian, Texas, to Cecil and Dorothy Estrada. On May 28th, 1964, she married David Galen Imler.

Carolyn worked as a homemaker and ran a daycare for many years. She enjoyed family time and was known and called “mom” or “grandma” by everyone.

Survivors include three children, Dan (Barb) Imler, Glenn Imler, and Roy Imler; three grandchildren, William Imler, Matt Imler and Alysia Martin; foster granddaughter, Jessica Noonan; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Estrada.

She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Jerry Imler; her parents; and brothers, Gene Estrada, William Estrada, and Roy Estrada.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the American Legion Post 180, Great Bend, Kansas. Memorials have been designated to the Carolyn Imler Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
