Carrie Lynn Heiderscheidt, 64, passed away on Sept. 11, 2022, in Hutchinson. Carrie was born in Salina, Kan., on July 29, 1958, to Betty Lou and Wesley Nichols.
Carrie grew up traveling the nation and abroad with her Air Force Sergeant dad, Glenn Schuster, mom, Betty Schuster, and two sisters, Beverly Schuster and Diana Ferguson. Carrie’s early adult years were spent being connected to the land, raising Great Danes and studying holistic health. She always held an amazing memory, and loved to tell stories. She will be remembered for her fiery red hair and spirit.
Carrie enjoyed riding motorcycles with her lifelong companion, Jerry Heiderscheidt of Hutchinson. Carrie had two children, Crystal Pennington Mittel and Russell “Rusty” Pennington; and three grandchildren, Kadin, Trey and Bailey Pennington. Carrie also has a brother, Stan Nichols. Carrie valued spending time with family and is now reunited in the next cycle with her father, Wesley; her dad, Glenn; and her sister, Beverly.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at 2 p.m., at the Great Bend Cemetery. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
