SARASOTA, Fla. — Charles Randall Schwartz, 53, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Great Bend, passed away Dec. 17, 2012.
Born June 10, 1959 in Great Bend, he was the son of Harold Charles Schwartz and Geraldine Helen Kienzle. A 1977 graduate of Great Bend High School, he graduated with an Associate Degree from Barton Community College and studied at Fort Hays State University. Randy was a caring husband and father and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Randy served as a member of the Board of Directors at Great Bend Co-op Association. He was also a member of American Soybean Association and Shelby American Automobile Club.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Tetyana Schwartz; his aunt, Floreine Blankenship, Great Bend; his son, Walker James Schwartz and his wife Cassandra Schwartz, Wichita; his daughters, Sarah Rachelle Schwartz, Great Bend and Julia Schwartz, Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jace Walker Schwartz and Matilda Rachelle Philbern; and his first wife, Denise Rachelle Fuqua.
A service of remembrance will be held at noon Thursday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota, Fla. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to service time. Condolences may be expressed at www.palmsrobartsfuneralhome.com.
