Clark LaVern Funk, 57, died April 8, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1959, the son of Raymond Bernard and Lillian R. (Boxberger) Funk. He married Cynthia Marie Schmitt Aug. 13, 1992, at Milberger. He worked in maintenance for Becker Tire and Treading.
He enjoyed listening to music, motorcycles, bowling and pool.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, Curtis Funk and Raymond Funk and his wife Samantha, both of Great Bend, and William Funk of the home; two sisters, Connie Dirreen and her husband Bill of Hoisington, and Victoria Sturgeon and her husband Jim of Topeka; and one granddaughter, Lillith Funk. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Brandon Joseph Funk.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12 at United Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger with the Rev. Adam Wutka, officiant. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Galatia. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. Memorial donations to the Clark Funk Funeral Expense Fund may be made in care of the funeral home.
